OMI provides support and management services to practices interested in exploring imaging and/or radiation as an ancillary. OMI can assess the feasibility of the project both financially and clinically and provide interested groups with information that is critical to decision making. Viable projects are supported by OMI in three areas: site development, management and financial support. Not all groups require the same level of support. How it works

The first step is to determine if your group has the volume and reimbursement climate to support the project. OMI's development team will review your imaging/radiation referral history and diagnosis code history. A detailed review of reimbursement will provide information specific to your market and the carriers that serve your patients. In addition we will provide a preliminary equipment recommendation and an estimate of the site specifications. This detailed report will give your organization a fairly comprehensive overview of the business line which will let you know the range of the costs and profitability.
